The newly-elected Australian PM met his Indian counterpart on Saturday morning on the sidelines of G20 Summit in Japan and shared some light moments with him. Morrison clicked a selfie with Modi and posted it on Twitter with a caption "Kithana acha he Modi!" (How good is Modi). Last month, the two leaders congratulated each other on their respective election victories.

At least 17 dead in wall collapse following continuous rains in Pune

At least 17 people were killed as a portion of the compound wall of a residential complex collapsed on shanties following incessant rains in Pune, police said on Saturday. The wall collapsed due to heavy rainfall. The dead were mostly labourers from Bihar and Bengal living in shanties and used to work at a construction site nearby. Three injured were admitted at a hospital.

Oscar Martinez, 25, and, Angie Valeria, just shy of 2 years old, died on June 23 as they were attempting to cross the river between Mexico and the United States. A photo of the two drowned migrants caught them face-down in the reeds of the river's trash-strewn shore. The little girl, in red tights swollen by a water-logged diaper, is entwined in her father's T-shirt, a small arm stretched across his neck as if in a final embrace.
