Will have 80% quota in private jobs for locals: Koshyari
Koshyari made the announcement while addressing the joint sitting of the state legislature at Vidhan Bhawan in which he laid out the new government’s broader agenda for the coming years. He said the government would provide meals at Rs 10 to citizens and build a super-speciality hospital in every district of the state.

RBI expected to cut rates on December 5
A majority of economists polled by TOI expect the RBI to cut its repo rate — at which the regulator lends to banks — by 25 basis points (100bps = 1 percentage point) to 4.9%. A cut in the repo rate would, however, be immediately transmitted to retail borrowers as the RBI has forced banks to link loans to an external benchmark instead of a self-determined reference rate.

1.78L apply for Haj 2020 in full online process
This will be the first Haj were all processes — from application and visa to health records, luggage tagging and accommodation updates — will be executed online. The application process for next year’s Haj comes to an end on December 5. Of the applications received till November 30, there were around 15,000 online ones from J&K.
