Noted ad film maker and Padma Shri Alyque Padamsee died Saturday morning in Mumbai at the age of 90. The ad man was the brain behind several iconic ad campaigns such as the Lalitaji for Surf, Cherry Charlie for Cherry Blossom, the MRF Muscle Man, the Liril girl, the Kamasutra couple, Hamara Bajaj, the Fair & Handsome brand, etc.
