According to forest department sources, NHAI is mulling over constructing the Expressway on 36 hectares of forest land in the MHTR. Though a formal proposal for the same is yet to be submitted to the state forest department, as per initial discussions, NHAI has suggested an alignment that passes through Jhamra region of Darrah range in MHTR.
